Print-ready files. Fewer surprises.
These are starting guidelines. Use the dimensions and artwork requirements confirmed for your particular product; large-format, folding and special finishes can need different files.
Size & bleed
Set artwork at the final trim size. For standard small-format print, allow 3 mm bleed per edge and keep important content at least 3 mm inside the trim, unless our template says otherwise.
Resolution & colour
Use around 300 ppi at final size for small-format raster artwork. Use vectors for logos. Confirm the required CMYK profile; RGB colours may change in print.
Export & fonts
Prefer a print-ready PDF. Embed fonts or convert text to outlines. Include linked assets. Confirm the PDF preset with the print team.
Special jobs
- Keep foil, spot UV and cut lines on clearly named separate vector layers.
- For folded work, verify panel widths, folds and reading order.
- For duplex work, label front/back and confirm orientation.
- For packaging, use the approved dieline and keep artwork away from folds and glue areas.
- For large-format work, state artwork scale and confirm resolution at final size.
Before approving
- Check names, spelling, numbers, links and QR codes.
- Check final size, quantity, sides, paper, finish and colours.
- Review the proof. A screen preview cannot guarantee exact printed colour or texture.
- Confirm production and delivery timing after artwork approval.
Artwork selection supports PDF, AI, EPS, PNG and JPEG up to 50 MB. Selecting a file in the current site does not send it; checkout must confirm the upload.
